I am aware that when I intend to post this, election week will be upon us. In this time a great turmoil, it is important to continue to take care of oneself.
A recent release for me has been making/consuming art, interacting with other QTPOC (Queer and Trans People of color) and BIPOC (Black and Indigenous People of color), and connecting with my spirituality as I can.
A way in which I can do all of those things, is highlighting some of the work that these individuals are doing. I plan to do this at least once a month, if not more frequently.
Here is the first!

“For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved music and I’ve wanted to write songs. I remember being in elementary school and writing songs to show people. My whole life, it’s been my way to cope with my surroundings and it’s always came to me naturally, I’ve been releasing music on my own since I was 15. I am now freshly 18 and trying to figure out the world and figure out music. I am gearing up to drop my first album, after having previously dropped 3 eps and two mixtapes. Recently, I’ve become enamored with the concept of Yin and Yang. So the first album isn’t really just one album, it’s two. This month I am going to drop my first and second album together. ‘Yin and Yang. Happy and Sad. 27, and 56‘.”
